Database of Degrees, Majors, and Specializations at Project 1000 Institutions

This database was compiled by Project 1000 staff first entering all degrees, majors and specializations within majors offered at each of the 80 comprehensive doctoral-granting universities participating in Project 1000 from each institution's respective graducate catalogs. The resulting list of degrees, majors and specializations was then forwarded for review and correction by our our institutional liaisons at each graduate school. This database is the result of that process. While 100% accuracy is probably unattainable, it is as accurate as practicable. We encourage you to use this database for unofficial information purposes, but please verify all information directly with the relevant institution and/or department before making any irrevocable decisions regarding graduate study.

To Use: Enter a keyword from the major or specialization that you are seeking and click on the submit button.

You can even enter characters that are a part of the whole word that you are looking for. This way you expand your search results. For example, to look for all Majors or specializations that contain the word "Computer", you can type in just "Computer" and the search result will include all majors/specializations that have the word "computer" somewhere in the title, such as: "Computer Science" or "Computer Engineering Technology" or "Media and Computers". For another example, if you were to type in "Bio", your search result will contain all majors/specializations such as "Biogenetics" or "Biology" or "Bioscience".

Please note that the search is NOT case sensitive -- this is a complete search -- irrespective if you have entered the keys in lowercase or uppercase. So, you can go ahead and enter the keys in any fashion you want.
