What will I find in this resource? Artworks This resource contains links to 20 images including both Chicana/o art and earlier works. No 20 artworks can represent the breadth of art made by Chicana/os. Some considerations in selecting the 20 two-dimensional artworks for the first phase of our project have been relevance to significant themes, gender balance, geographic breadth, and historical range. Questions and Answers This feature contains specific information about the 20 artworks on Chicana and Chicano Space and the people who made them, as well as contextual information relevant to each artwork. Interpretation from several viewpoints are provided as well as connections between each artwork and other Chicana/o and non-Chicana/o artworks.
