Conservation
The resplendent quetzal, the horned guan, and other neo-tropical birds are in danger of extinction as the cloud forest is decimated from below. Many issues are related to the dangers that the neo-tropical birds face, and initiatives are underway to conserve the remaining cloud forests and the animals that are native to them.
