Francisco Pinto Casasola

Francisco Pinto Casasola is a former finance minister of Guatemala and the owner of the Biotopín, a private preserve in Baja Verapaz, Guatemala. The Biotopín borders with the Biotopo Universitario Mario Dary Rivera para la Conservación del Quetzal (BUCQ), and both preserves constitute part of the biological corridor of Guatemala. Francisco has collaborated with several organizations, including the Bank of Guatemala and the Guatemalan Institute of Tourism (INGUAT), to develop programs that work to preserve and conserve the future for the quetzal and its habitat.
