Dr. Enrique Ramírez is the Executive Director of the Tropical Science Center (TSC) in San José, Costa Rica. The Center is recognized as one of the world leading organizations in the management of protected areas, offering solutions to environmental problems. Members of the Resplendent quetzal project from Arizona State University have visited the TSC in San José, Costa Rica, as well as the Monteverde preserve, to  interview Dr. Ramírez, as well as to photograph and video the quetzal in its environment.
