Andrés Alvarado

Andrés Alvarado is a freelance guide and nature photographer at the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Preserve in Costa Rica. Andrés has extensive experience in environmental conservation in Costa Rica and has participated in numerous programs that work to protect the quetzal and its habitat. His experiences with the quetzal and his affiliation with renowned sound recorder Alex Villegas are important to the quetzal project's understanding of the sounds quetzals make. Several of Andrés' striking quetzal photographs are included in this project.
